"Helping musician friends with shows and events, while watching them DJ the odd house party on the side. I thought I could at least do that since I wasn't a good musician. They taught me the basics and I started faking it till I made it, with my first residency at Barroco Restaurant in 2008. From the beginning the backbone of my sets have been about selecting quality tunes that fit the event and atmosphere.  All these years later, the same principle remains in my preparation and contributions to events. Being a reliable, humble, easy to work with, professional DJ is also paramount.  My goals are to get established in my home town of Montreal after being away most of my DJing career, create great networks and events that uplift people and give back to an art form that has given me so much; branching out where I can, get into production, and see where the journey goes!"   -Nick Quenneville (DJ Q)
